Chinese Food Delivery at Punjabi Market
Main Street, 49th to 51st — a different kind of South Asian order
Hakka-Chinese, not tandoori — a complement to the Punjabi Market classics
Punjabi Market is the Indian commercial heart of Vancouver — two blocks of Main Street between 49th and 51st Avenue, stacked with sari shops, sweet houses, butchers and the city's most iconic North Indian restaurants. If you are on the strip and you want a different kind of plate, we are that.
IndoCave is Hakka-Chinese (also called Indo-Chinese) — the wok-fired southern-Chinese stir-fry tradition that travelled with Hakka-Chinese settlers to Kolkata's Tangra district. Chilli chicken, hakka noodles, manchurian, schezwan rice. Different from the Punjabi tandoori and curry-house menus the Market is famous for, and different from American-Chinese chow mein.
From our East Broadway kitchen the Market is a five-kilometre run south; Chinese orders typically arrive in twenty-two to twenty-six minutes.
What makes us different from the Market restaurants
- Hakka-Chinese, not Indian — chilli chicken, manchurian, hakka noodles.
- Bold street-food energy — not curry-house menus.
- Strong vegetarian Chinese menu — over a third of the menu, including handcrafted Nepalese momos.
- Late-night Chinese kitchen — we run past when most Market kitchens close.

FAQ
Is this traditional Punjabi food?
No — we are Hakka-Chinese (Indo-Chinese) and Nepalese, which are different cuisines from North Indian Punjabi. Think chilli chicken and momos, not butter chicken and naan.
Why order IndoCave when I'm already at Punjabi Market?
For a change of pace. Hakka-Chinese is its own cuisine — Chinese stir-fry technique with Indian spice. It pairs well with, or alternates from, the classical Punjabi dishes the Market is known for.
Do you deliver late?
Yes — to 2 AM on Fri/Sat. Longer than most Punjabi Market kitchens run.
Are there vegetarian Chinese options?
Strong — over a third of the menu, including five veg momo styles and Veg Manchurian, Paneer Chilli, Honey Chilli Potatoes, Veg Hakka Noodles and Veg Schezwan Fried Rice.
