Chinese Food Delivery in Vancouver & Burnaby
Wok-fired Hakka-Chinese from East Broadway — chilli chicken, hakka noodles, manchurian. Till 2 AM.
Chinese delivery, the way we cook it. IndoCave is a Hakka-Chinese kitchen at 2887 East Broadway in the geographic centre of East Vancouver. Our menu is the wok-fired southern-Chinese stir-fry tradition that travelled with the Hakka diaspora from Guangdong to Kolkata: chilli chicken, hakka noodles, schezwan rice, manchurian, honey chilli potatoes — the bold, soy-and-chilli plates that defined a century of Hakka-Chinese restaurants across Asia.
Inside our 5 km delivery ring that means sub-15-minute arrival on home turf and 20–28 minutes for the outer band — across Vancouver's east side and western Burnaby. Prefer to pick up? Place the order online and it's bagged at 2887 East Broadway in 15–20 minutes.

Get DirectionsWhat "Chinese" means here
"Chinese food" is a big tent. To set expectations clearly:
- What we are: Hakka-Chinese (also known as Indo-Chinese) — the wok-fired stir-fry tradition descended from Hakka-Chinese settlers in Kolkata's Tangra district. Bold soy-chilli sauces, crispy proteins, hot peppers, garlic and ginger.
- What we are not: Cantonese (no dim sum, no congee, no clay-pot), Sichuan (no mapo tofu, no dan dan), or American-Chinese (no chow mein, no orange chicken, no fortune cookies).
- Why it matters: Hakka-Chinese is its own branch of the family tree — closer in technique to Cantonese stir-fry than anything North-American, but with sharper heat and more aromatic spice. If you have not eaten it before, the chilli chicken is the easiest entry point.

FAQ
Is this the kind of Chinese food I'm used to?
If you have eaten Hakka-Chinese or Indo-Chinese before, yes. If your reference point is American-Chinese (chow mein, sweet and sour, orange chicken) or Cantonese dim sum, this is different — bolder, spicier, more aromatic. Start with the Chilli Chicken and Hakka Noodles combo.
How big is your Chinese delivery zone?
5 km radius from 2887 East Broadway. Every east-side Vancouver neighbourhood is inside, plus western Burnaby (Willingdon Heights, Burnaby Heights, Brentwood, Metrotown).
How long will my order take?
10–15 minutes for home-turf Renfrew-Collingwood, 15–22 minutes for the 2–4 km sweet-spot ring, 20–28 minutes for the 4–5 km outer band.
Are there vegetarian Chinese options?
Yes — Veg Manchurian, Paneer Chilli, Honey Chilli Potatoes, Veg Hakka Noodles, Veg Fried Rice and Veg Steamed Momos. Over a third of the menu is meat-free.
How late does Chinese delivery run?
Sun–Thu until midnight, Fri–Sat until 2 AM. We are one of the few Chinese kitchens in Vancouver still open past 1 AM. Last kitchen call is 30 minutes before close.
Can I pick up instead?
Always. Place the order online and it's ready at the counter in 15–20 minutes at 2887 East Broadway.
