Chinese Food Delivery in Vancouver

Wok-fired Hakka-Chinese from East Broadway — every neighbourhood inside the 5 km ring, till 2 AM

Hakka-Chinese, made for Vancouver

IndoCave is a Vancouver Hakka-Chinese kitchen at 2887 East Broadway — the geographic centre of the east side. The menu is the wok-fired stir-fry tradition that travelled with Hakka-Chinese settlers to Kolkata's Tangra district and grew into one of South Asia's most-loved cuisines: chilli chicken, hakka noodles, manchurian, schezwan fried rice, honey chilli potatoes, paneer chilli. In Vancouver this is sometimes called Indo-Chinese; the cooking technique and the soul of the dishes are Hakka-Chinese.

Everything is cooked to order — nothing sits under heat lamps. We deliver hot to neighbourhoods inside a five-kilometre ring: all of East Vancouver, Mount Pleasant, Strathcona, Downtown Eastside, South Van, plus western Burnaby.

What we are (and aren't)

  • We are: a Hakka-Chinese (Indo-Chinese) takeout & delivery kitchen. Wok-fired stir-fries, soy-chilli sauces, crispy proteins and the bold spice profile that defined Tangra-style Chinese cooking.
  • We are not: a Cantonese dim sum house. No siu mai, no har gow, no congee. Different cuisine.
  • We are not: American-Chinese. No chow mein, no orange chicken, no sweet-and-sour pork, no fortune cookies.
  • We are not: a dine-in restaurant. No tables, no servers, no reservations. Pickup at the counter or delivery to your door.

FAQ

Where in Vancouver do you deliver Chinese food?

Everywhere inside our 5 km delivery ring — the east side from Strathcona to Killarney, plus Mount Pleasant and South Van. See the regional pages above for details.

Do you deliver downtown / west side?

The Downtown Eastside, Chinatown and eastern Gastown yes. Further west (West End, Kitsilano, UBC) is outside our core ring.

How is this different from other Chinese restaurants in Vancouver?

Vancouver has world-class Cantonese, Sichuan, Taiwanese and northern-Chinese restaurants. We are none of those — we are Hakka-Chinese (Indo-Chinese), a separate branch of the family with its own dishes and a sharper, more aromatic spice profile.

How late is Chinese delivery?

Sun–Thu until midnight, Fri–Sat until 2 AM. We are one of the few Chinese kitchens in Vancouver still running past 1 AM.
